2026 Hosted Trip Announcements
Sometimes getting a trip on the calendar just helps.
It’s been a week… a month… a year. I don’t think I’m alone in feeling like just getting myself away from the computer and the phone, and just unplugging for a while on the water is the needed medicine right now. And if I can’t be on the water, then planning to do so is the next best thing.

I’ll be returning January 24-31, 2026, with a hosted group. Three slots have already filled with returning guests, so get in touch quickly if you’d like to join us. Bolivia Heli-Fishing For Trophy Golden Dorado
I’m excited to be returning to Untamed Angling’s Tsimane Pluma Lodge Heli-Fishing Program June 28-July 5, 2026—an exclusive program in the Bolivian Amazon, designed to target trophy golden dorado. Tsimane has a privileged geographical location due to its proximity to the headwaters of many rivers in the Moseten mountain chain.
I first visited this program in October 2023, and quickly fell in love with the fishery, the lodge, and the program itself. The ability to have a comfortable Robinson R44 RAVEN II to take us to and from remote, wild rivers every day changes the game.

Guests will have the opportunity to fish for large dorado, pacu, yatorana, and even moturo, in incomparable quantity and quality. The rivers and tributaries where we will fish every day are wild, untouched waters seldom seen by human beings.
