For more than fifteen years, I've traveled the world as a photographer and writer, also helping manage fly lodges, pioneering new fisheries—while documenting it all with both images and words.

Why Am I Here?

Many of you have reached out to me over the years with questions on photography, writing, travel, and so much more. A lot of you have asked about photography instruction, either in-person or in groups, and learning how—and why—I do things a certain way.

With the help of a friend, I’m exploring bringing those discussions over here to Substack. Some content will be free, open to everyone, while some will be pay-gated and available for subscribers. Subscriptions will help me be able to continue doing the travel and work that’s brought you here.
